From June through November, when the reasonable water is low, the bountiful submerged plants that spread the riverbed flaunt their red, yellow, green, and blue tones. The superstar—particularly in this photograph—is Macarenia clavigera, a riverweed that ranges from brilliant red to profound blood red or purple contingent upon its admission of sun beams.
