The Nishi-Shinjuku district in Tokyo, Japan
Tokyo’s Shinjuku area is prestigious for its colorful urban scenes, humming nightlife, and eye-popping road style. It’s not all pointless fooling around here, however. The local west of Shinjuku Station (refered to by Guinness World Records as the world’s busiest vehicle center) is an ever-growing group of high rises. Truth be told, Nishi-Shinjuku is the place Tokyo initially started growing high rises during the 1970s, and it’s presently a significant business region. Eleven of Tokyo’s 40 tallest high rises ascend over Nishi-Shinjuku.
